I don’t think it will be wrong to say that Coco Mademoiselle is the Nº5 of the modern age or the perfume of the 21st century. It’s that popular! This spring, almost 20 years after its launch, the iconic Coco Mademoiselle got an “intense” update. The difference between the original Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Perfume (EdP) and EdP Intense is very subtle, yet significant. The creator Olivier Polge has used the DNA of Coco Mademoiselle to create the Intense version. I would describe it as warmer, more sophisticated and unique.

The irresistible quality of Coco M EdP Intense leans on a backbone of a big portion of double distilled Patchouli with added Tonka bean and Madagascan vanilla. A powerful and deep composition of a soft oriental spice. The heart is composed of dewy sparkle of Rose and a swirl of Jasmine. The top notes, Sicilian orange and Calabrian bergamot, culminate to freshen it up. All the notes are very well balanced, so it’s fresh, floral, oriental and sweet all at the same time. And this balanced combination pleases as many tastes as possible. If you ask me, Coco Mademoiselle Intense is a total Chanel winner! with incredible lasting power.

I never felt like buying the original Coco M EdP, there is something in it the scent that is too much for me, but when I smelled the new Intense version (although many people say they can’t smell the difference) I was totally sold. It’s more present, modern, more womanly and longer lasting. A total classic ❤ ! If I have to artistically describe the scent, I would describe it as a warm summer evening when you watch a bloody sunset among countless amount of poppies.

The bottle is a classic Chanel- super chic and luxurious. And do I think it’s worth it? Yes, absolutely! And I would probably repurchase it, but I have now the 50ml bottle and with it’s longevity, it will definitely take some time before I finish it. The price for 50ml is €78.80 (can wary in the different shops).
