I’m always on the hunt for good skincare products, especially after I experienced some skin struggles during two consecutive winters. Here, I’m sharing my 5-star reviews holy-grail products of 2017.

1. Alpha-H Liquid Gold

   This is probably the best product I’ve purchased last year! And I don’t think I saw a review or an opinion that was negative. This product is a life-changer for your skin. It visibly reduces the appearance of fine lines, age and dark spots, sun damage, breakouts, hyper-pigmentation and acne. The formula combines glycolic acid and liquorice root extract to stimulate the production of elastane, collagen and hyaluronic acid by the skin. 2. Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution

   Enriched with activated Vitamin C, White Birch and Peony extracts, the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution fights effectively against dark spots, discolouration and hyper-pigmentation. Daily, continuous use improves skin clarity, resulting in brighter and more radiant skin complexion. A product so good that I’ve recently repurchased. Here is a more detailed review about it. 3. Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

   It’s with a reason this is one of the Kiehl’s bestsellers. Midnight Recover Concentrate  replenishes the skin overnight while you sleep. It’s powerful formula consists of 99,8% natural ingredients, a blend of essential oils like lavender, evening primrose and squalene. In the morning, the skin is softer, smoother and brighter. I use it when my skin needs an extra boost and hydration, and especially now during the winter months when my skin is exposed to extra aggressors. Read my full review about this product here. 4. The Ordinary’s Advanced Retinoid 2%

   Retinoids are fantastic, ladies! They are considered as the gold standard for the anti-ageing. Retinoids are forms of Vitamin A and are known for their effectiveness against wrinkles, dark spots and acne. The Ordinary’s Advanced Retinoid 2% uses next-generation retinoid active technologies shown to achieve better results than retinol but without the annoying irritation. And I can totally confirm it! After 3 months of use, my skin has definitely improved to be softer, brighter, with less dark circles and fine lines. Price: € 9,80 for 30ml. 

5. Juliette Armand’s 30 SPF Sun Film

   Another absolute great discovery of 2017 is the Juliette Armand’s 30 SPF Sun Film. This is more than just a sunscreen! It’s a light and delicate cream, which is in the colour of the skin. What I absolutely love about it, is that it leaves a non-oily almost mate feel, which I haven’t found in any other sunscreen product so far. It doesn’t clog your pores and it has an antioxidant action that prevents cell damage. Price: € 37,- for 55ml.
