MAC Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder

Hi, girls! Here is another review of a product that I’ve been using literally every day since I bought it. Yes, I’m talking about the MAC’s Prep + Prime transparent finishing powder, a fantastic product that keeps my face from getting shiny.

This finishing powder by MAC provides an invisible way to reduce shine, conceal pores and set makeup. Its silky and fine structure mattifies your skin for hours without leaving  white marks or changing your foundation tone. The powder is suitable for all skin shades and types, even including sensitive skin, isn’t that great. 😉 You can apply it after your foundation (that’s what I usually do) or on bare moisturised skin for a smooth finish. You don’t need to use a lot, a light application is enough to make your skin look great and to keep your makeup fresh and in place. The product works very well after the initial application, so you don’t need to reapply unless you have a very oily skin.

The packaging is very simple and stylish, nothing too much. The jar comes in a black paper box, covered with glitters. When you open the lid of the jar, there is a sticker that covers the holes and prevents the powder from come through. I still keep the sticker, because I’m afraid that once removed the powder will fly everywhere and it will become messy and impossible to take along.

MAC Prep + Prime transparent finishing powder is available in loose and pressed form. For €23 (Douglas) or $27 (Maccosmetics) you get 9g of loose or 6.3g pressed product. I know, it doesn’t seem a lot, but you use just a bit of it, so I think it will last for a long time.

I don’t know what I was doing before this 🙂 I absolutely love this powder ❤ It gives me an oil-free beautiful finish and it blends everything together.

What kind of setting powder do you use?

xx Love,

tanya
